Maya had Zan’s address and after searching for a bit more she finally teacher out Zan’s house. Maya did not inform about this trip of her’s to anyone, she just left a message on a sticky pad that she needs to run an urgent errand and will be back by the next day.
As Maya stepped out of the cab she was astonished to see the villa. She never knew that Zan was so rich. Zan always told her that he belonged to a middle-class family, but what she saw there, the big gate with 2 security guards, and behind that a luxurious-looking bungalow her mouth gaped.
As she approached the villa the security asked her whom she wanted to meet. “I want to meet Mrs. Shehrawat”. The guard looked at her for a second then asked if she had an appointment, Maya nodded her head. The guard informed her then that Mrs. Shehrawat doesn’t meet anyone without an appointment.
Maya tried her best, she kept on requesting that how important it was for her to meet Mrs. Shehrawat but the guard didn’t allow her inside. As they were talking suddenly a car approached behind her and stopped. As the gate opened a middle-aged man stepped out of it and asked the guard that what was this confusion about. “Sir, this lady wants to meet madam Ji, but she doesn’t even have her no”, as the man looked at Maya, who was already in tears, joined her hands in front of the man and said, “I wan..t to me..et her because it is very important for me, I want to tell her something”.
The man looked at Maya from head to toe and asked, “If you are here to ask for money, in return to sell us information about our rivals then let me tell you we don’t need it”. Maya this time fell on her knees and said that she was pregnant with Mrs. Shehrawat’s son Zan’s child. She didn’t need money, she just wanted a father for her child.
The man held Maya’s and made her stand and introduced himself as Sopan Ahluwalia, Zan’s maternal uncle. “Girl, if what you say is true and this child is our heir, I will make sure that Zan and family are accepting it.” As he gave assurance to Maya, her face glowed, and she nodded. “What is your name?”, he asked her, Maya told him her name and before he could say anything Maya also added that she has come all the way from Mumbai.
Sopan looked at her and said, “Come with me inside the house”, Maya slightly nodded and both of them entered the ‘Sehrawat Villa’ in his car. Maya was completely sure now that her child will get a father’s name.
