Maya walked into the restaurant and was surprised to see Zan sitting at the counter. It was an unexpected encounter at an odd time. As Zan noticed Maya, she couldn’t help but notice the dilation of his pupils.
Maya decided to order her takeaway and leave without engaging in any conversation with Zan. However, later that evening, Zan reached out to her and asked if he could come over and introduce her to someone.
Despite her reservations, Maya agreed to the meeting. Zan introduced her to his brother, who appeared to be an introvert. The evening went smoothly, but as they were leaving, Maya had an uneasy feeling that something was not right.
She couldn’t shake the feeling that her intuition was warning her about something.
