  1. You are correct , we need to practice gratitude but sadly now a it’s missing in many , people are thankless and don’t understand others emotions.

  2. We all need to practice gratitude more often because it has tangible benefits. But we don’t realize just how helpful it is in moving past grudges and feeling better mentally and physically.

  3. I used to practice gratitude all the time although my husband passed away and financially I was in a soup. But 4 months ago when my son passed away I have lost all faith and gratitude. How can I be grateful?

  4. Feeling grateful also brings with it humility and teaches you to appreciate all that you have. It is very important for one to practice gratitude for emotional and mental well-being in the long run.

  5. Practising gratitude is one of the most disappearing elements today. With time, man has become self-centred and egoistic to appreciate others. Such reminders are essential for recovery.

  6. As a teen I always thought the likes of gratitude journal etc are a waste of time. As I grow older and hopefully wiser, I realize there’s nothing as powerful as that feeling of contentment when you wake up. You just look at the positive side of things. These benefits are absolutely real and I can vouch for them.

  7. Having gratitude makes us humble. It is so important to have that gratitude and as you said it helps in being optimistic.
