I have read the book and watched the movie. The story of Oskar Schindler is very moving. It is so sad to know about the bad things that happened to the Jews during that time. I have to get a copy of the movie so I can rewatch it.

I’ve seen this film two times, once in school and once on my own at home, and I thought it was incredible. I’ve actually also been to Auschwitz before (both camps) and the experience was even more harrowing. Such an important part of our history that we should never forget.

I am glad I saw it when it came out – but I have difficulty seeing anyone oppressed (I don’t think I slept the night after seeing this movie). I do not deny oppression is rampant even in today’s society. I do hope others who haven’t seen it are inspired by your article.

I’ve watched Schindler’s List twice and it moved me so much. The black and white effect makes it more poignant. A hard one to watch but so important to learn about the holocaust.
