In The Name Of Love

February 12, 2023 by Moni 29 Comments

Once upon a time, there was a young woman named Sarah who lived a quiet and simple life. She worked as a librarian at the local library, where she spent most of her days surrounded by books and the comforting stillness of the stacks.

One day, a new patron walked into the library, and Sarah’s life changed forever. His name was Jack, and he was a successful businessman with a charming smile and a confident air that immediately caught Sarah’s attention.

At first, they were just friendly acquaintances, exchanging small talk as Jack checked out books on economics and business strategy. But as they got to know each other better, Sarah found herself drawn to his intelligence and wit, and before she knew it, she was falling in love.

For months, they talked and laughed and lost themselves in conversations about books and life, until finally, Jack mustered up the courage to ask Sarah out on a date.

The date was a magical affair, filled with good food, good wine, and even better conversation. They talked for hours, laughing and learning about each other until the night was over and they found themselves reluctant to say goodbye.

From that moment on, Sarah and Jack were inseparable. They explored the city together, discovering new sights and sounds and making memories that would last a lifetime.

As their love grew stronger, Jack realized that he could not imagine his life without Sarah, and he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his days making her happy. So he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

Sarah, overjoyed at the prospect of spending the rest of her life with the man she loved, said yes. And they were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family, who could see the love radiating from them both.

Years passed, and Sarah and Jack grew old together, their love only grew stronger with each passing day. They raised a family and made a home filled with laughter, love, and memories that would last a lifetime.

In their old age, they would sit on their porch and hold hands, watching the world go by and grateful for the love that had brought them together all those years ago in the quiet stacks of the library.

And so, their love story became a tale that was passed down through the generations, inspiring others to believe in the power of love and the magic that can be found in even the quietest of places.

As Chitra completed the story, she heard Vishaan humming. A smile crept across her face. In this story that she had written, she changed the names in the story and also wrote what she had once visualized for their future.

While listening to the humming as she closed her eyes in peace, she knew that even though her lover had passed away two years ago, he was still with her, encouraging and supporting her, all in the name of love.

Hi Moni. Read you for the first time.
You have written a compelling plot with interesting characters and a very clear narration that is how I like stories to be. Good Luck for the bloghop season 3.

This is such a touching story Moni. We all love happy endings but sometimes in real life it is never the same. At such times, the memories if our loved ones, the feeling of being loved by them keeps us going. You have portrayed this essence well into the story.

Reading the story was a nice experience as it surrounded many hues of emotions. The ending seemed even more interesting to me as you revealed it was a story written by the narrator herself. Liked the name too, very touching.

Love should grow with us, reaching maturity when the time comes. Holding hands in old age is more significant than the immature version.

The story is beautifully written and paints a vivid picture of a love that transcends time and space. It is easy to become emotionally invested in the characters and their love story, making it a compelling read.
