It was a chilly winter night when Sub Inspector Prathamesh and his group of officers were out for a round in the area in their police car. They all were posted in a town where the crime was comparatively lesser than other places and due to that they also had very little chance to earn extra cash.
However, tonight was different, it was almost the end of the month and they all wanted to drink up but everyone’s pocket was tight. As they were discussing their bad luck while they crossed a deserted road suddenly they saw a car which was shaking hysterically.
“Seems like God listened to us”, said Akhil the asst. Sub Inspector along with three other constables giggled. “First, let us check what are these people doing inside”, said Sub Insp Prathamesh.
As they all stepped down from the car and walked towards it tiptoed what they saw terrified them. No one was inside, neither in the front seat nor the back.
“Run-run it is a haunted car”, Akhil shouted as everyone ran back to their police car and drove away.
A while later a car mechanic came out with his girlfriend from below the car. “You were right, people won’t find us here”, the girlfriend said as they both started laughing hard.
